Urgent Support:

Urgent Help within the hours of 9:00AM-5:00PM:
If mental health has significantly deteriorated and the person is struggling to keep themselves safe, there is a risk posed to someone else- contact the GP to discuss an urgent referral to the Single Point of Access for Mental Health Services for assessment.

Urgent Help outside the hours of 9:00AM-5:00PM:
If you are struggling to keep yourself safe or you are worried about someone else’s safety out of hours (before 9AM, after 5:00PM) please contact theirs/your out of hours GP service, or go to the Urgent Care Centre at Blackpool Victoria Hospital or contact the Emergency Services.


Mental Health Helpline

Lancashire Mental Health Helpline is a listening, information and emotional support service for those concerned about their own mental health, or that of someone they know. Fully trained volunteers operate the helpline, they offer their time to listen and support callers.

Supporting Minds

They provide a range of evidenced based treatment programmes including one-to-one therapy and group work for people living in the Blackpool area experiencing these problems.
